This is a Pride Tournament, centred on celebration, inclusion, and community.
All participants, organisers, referees, and spectators are expected to uphold the following principles:
Respect for all gender identities, sexual orientations, abilities,disabilities, races, and backgrounds
Fair play, sportsmanship, and positive conduct
Zero tolerance for discrimination, harassment, or hate speech
A fun, welcoming, and supportive environment for everyone
Team Captain Meeting: 13:20
Players entering the Venue: 13:40 (No earlier)
Tournament Start Time: 14:00 (Do not enter the courts before)
Global Warm‑Up: 20 minutes (before first matches)
Match Duration: 18 minutes (set‑based )
Changeover Time: 2 minutes between matches
Closing & Medals: Final 20 minutes (no matches scheduled)
The Tournament will be managed in Tournify
All matches and transitions will run strictly according to this schedule.
*This might be amended to adjust court times for everyone.
A single global warm‑up period of 20 minutes will take place before the first round
There are no individual team warm‑ups between matches (2 Min change)*
Teams are advised to arrive early and be ready to play at their scheduled start time
All teams must bring balls for warm up as balls are not going to be provided.
Teams must have 7 players minimum and maximum of 8 *(More than 8 is allowed but no medals accounted for in case your team wins). Requests by email Only.
Mixed teams are encouraged but not mandatory
No restrictions apply based on gender identity or sexual orientation
Player participation is based on self‑identification only
Substitutions are allowed according to standard volleyball rules
Final team rosters must be submitted at least 15 days before due date.
If any player is not registered and steps on court to play, the team will be disqualified.
If a player is injured your team can borrow a registered player from another team
All teams are advised to wear uniforms, make it colourful, make us proud.🌈

Matches are, set‑based not time‑based
Each match lasts 18 minutes
Standard rally‑point scoring applies
When match time expires:
The point in play is completed
The score at that moment is the final result
No extra time will be played unless announced by organisers
*minor changes might be made to the format
2 minutes are allocated between matches for:
Teams entering and exiting the court
Score confirmation
Captains are responsible for updating Tournify
Quick court reset
Teams must be ready to start immediately at the scheduled time
Late readiness may result in:
Points awarded to the opposing team
Match forfeiture in extreme cases
Matches will be officiated by team referees
Referee decisions are final
Only team captains may raise a question or concern
Disputes must be raised calmly and respectfully
Unsporting behaviour may result in:
Warnings
Point penalties
Match or tournament expulsion
All scores are managed and recorded via Tournify
Scores must be confirmed immediately after each match
Standings and progression are based on recorded results
Any discrepancies must be reported immediately to the scorekeeping team
The following behaviours are strictly prohibited:
Homophobia, transphobia, sexism, racism, or ableism
Hate speech, slurs, or discriminatory language
Harassment (verbal & physical)
Aggressive or intimidating behaviour towards players, referees, or organisers
Violations may result in immediate removal from the match or tournament.
Players participate at their own risk
Basic first aid is available on‑site
Injuries must be reported to event staff immediately
Organisers’ safety instructions must be followed at all times
Teams must be ready on court at their scheduled time
Late arrivals may start the match with a score disadvantage
Repeated lateness may lead to disqualification
The final 20* minutes of the event are reserved for:
Medal ceremony
Awards
Closing celebrations
No matches will be played during this period

Pride Spirit / Fair Play Award
After the tournament we will go to:

The registration is Fee is £29.00 per person + Spond Transaction. The team captain will register the entire team at once and first come, first serviced rules applies.
